1963 Thunderbird

If you think this is just another vintage TBird then guess again. You have actually just stumbled across one rare little classic with only 54,000 original miles. What is even better about this car is that just because it's rare doesn't mean you have to pay a million at Barrett Jackson to get it. It is being offered up here for a great price. What you see here was produced in the spring of 1963 and is known as the Ford Thunderbird Princess Monaco edition. This special model option was only built 2,000 times with this one being number 1169. All of these classics were done with a Corinthian White exterior that looks awesome out in the sun. The paint and finish on this car is very nice and has been well cared for. This color scheme actually was the result of Grace Kelly's desires as the princess of Monoco. The vinyl top is in great condition and is graced with the correct Tbird accents in the rear quarter section. All of the other emblems and trim is in place as well and has a beautiful shine. That long piece of trim down the side can be very costly to chase down so its great to see it in such great shape. The car has the fender skirts nicely mounted which help make the cool look. The 390 2 code V8 starts up every time and has a nice smooth idle. It has been kept all original and is in amazing shape. The engine compartment and every piece of the motor has been nicely painted and finished off. The air cleaner is nicely coated in Gold with the correct 390 decals. Attention to detail can be seen in small areas like the FOMOCO windshield fluid bag and more. The automatic transmission shifts nice and smooth and with no issues. This thing drives like new with no squeeks or rattles.

On the interior of the car is where you will find some of the coolest features. One is the swing away steering column topped with the original White steering wheel. On the dash and door panels the car has simulated Rosewood that is in great condition. The car is also packed with some luxuries like the power windows, power seats, and cold blowing AC system. The original center console is in place and house the power window controls and some extra storage.

This is one cool car you hardly ever see. You may see other TBirds but they aren't quite like this one! If you're going to buy one you might as well get the special edition for the same price!
