Everyone wants to find that happy place between dragster and street car.  This 1935 Pontiac is it!  With enough power to have fun at the track while still being able cruise down the highway (65mph at 1900 RPM)!  This rare 1935 Pontiac 3 Window Coupe is a great example of  how the two worlds can be combined into a great Street Rod.

It is coated in black paint with all of the original trim and chrome.  The bumpers and trim are all in great shape.  It has frenched tail lights which give it a custom look from behind.  It also has custom exhaust which was routed through the rear valance.  The complete drive train came out of a 1991 Firebird Formula.  This worked perfectly with this body style to give it the upgrade and stability it needed.  It has completely new suspension and has a 1991 Firebird front clip as well.  The 305 TPI (tuned port injection) V8 has plenty of power while helping with gas mileage.  This built up engine paired up with the 5 speed manual make this Pontiac tear up the road.  The car is Pro-Streeted and has a great rake.  It sits on a set of classic Cragar wheels and has plenty of tread on the tires. The current tires on the car are N50-15 in the rear and P205/70R15 up front. The rear wheels have an inset of 9 inches. With line lock you will be sure to wear that tread off fast though.  It was built up with an extremely strong 10 bolt posi-track rear end.

The interior is BRAND NEW! The all black leather interior was just installed and is very comfortable.  The bucket seats fit perfectly with a custom built console in between.  The custom black leather Grant steering wheel sits on top of the tilt steering column and looks great.  The dash is painted black to match the rest of the car and houses the black Autometer speedometer, fuel gauge and tach with whiteface Sunpro temp/volt/oil gauges mounted underneath.  The dash also houses the amazing sounding AM/FM/CD/Mp3 stereo and AC/Heater controls.

You might not think luxury when you check out this street machine, but let me assure you it is extremely comfortable.  It has power steering, power brakes (disc on all), air conditioning, and power windows.  What else could you want?  It's a high performance, cruising, luxury street rod!
