This isn't
your everyday 1965 Mustang by any stretch of the imagination.
This is the well known 1965 Mustang Restomod that's construction was
fully documented in the March 1998 issue of Mustang & Fords magazine
when it appeared on the cover as well as a page article inside.
It again appeared on the cover in January 2000 with another 9 page
article inside.
It is
basically a new modern 1965 Mustang with all the horsepower of
modern technology and creature comforts. It has 4,500 miles
since its completion. The following is a list of some of the
modifications that make up this special car. It has a 5.0 EFI
Crate motor specially built by Ford Racing Performance, a 4
speed automatic overdrive transmission specially built by B&M
Performance Products, a Ford 9 inch rear-end with 3.55:1
limited slip gears, Kelsey Hayes front disc brakes, JBA shorty
performance headers connected to 2 inch stainless steel exhaust with
Flow Master mufflers. The smooth ride and handling is
achieved through variable rate coils, heavy duty sway bars, five
leaf springs and 16X7 American Torque-thrust wheels with BF Goodrich
tires.
The car
also features Shelby tail lights, a 6 CD changer in the trunk, in
dash air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, keyless
entry, pony interior high back bucket seats out of a Mach 1, a Rally
Pac and a custom built console. The exterior is covered in
beautiful Poppy Red PPG Paint with White Shelby Lemans
stripes. Plus so much more, we simply don't have the
room to list.
This car
has been garage kept and primarily driven to car shows where is
consistently wins every time out.
The quality workmanship in this car is absolutely some of the best
you will ever see.
This one of kind Mustang can be yours for thousands less than the
