1958 Buick Super - Model 53 Six Window Sedan

If you have ever heard someone say "they just don't make them like they used to" there is a good chance they are referring to cars.  Well this cool 1958 Buick Super lives up to that statement with some amazing style features that makes you wonder why the Buick design team isn't creating cars like this anymore.  One look at that rear bumper and you will understand what we mean.  The reverse lights are embedded in inset coves with the tail lights mounted in chrome bezels that act as the tips of the rear fins.  This wraps around to perfectly fitting polished trim that continues on to the rear fender.  Down the sides is a ribbed section like you would see on a 57 Chevy, however on this car this area is all accented by a "Super" emblem and a cool three into one piece of trim.  This is then framed with more stainless!  The front bumper is just as impressive as the rear being fully chromed with two large bullets breaking up the individual squares grill.  And that is just a summary of the beautifully designed chrome/trim features on this classic.  Look at the provided pictures and you will see there is still a lot we left out.  All of this chrome would be nothing without the very well laid out White backing it up.  The body is very solid and has a great stance riding on original style wheels/hubcaps with nice white wall tires.  In addition to the car with this purchase you will be receiving a new set of wide white radials.  Did we mention this 54 year old classic has only had 2 owners?  Not only that but this car has been in Texas its entire life!  In fact, it was built in Arlington, TX and now resides only 20 minutes away! 

The car was completely restored to original and has been the pride and joy of its owner for years.  When someone takes this kind of pride in a classic you know it was done correctly and well cared for.  Rumbling to life under the hood of this classic is a 364 V8 Nailhead 300hp motor.  This is then backed by a Dynaflow Automatic transmission that shifts nice and smoothly.  The block, heads, manifold, and valve covers are all coated in a nice Green like you would see coated these engines when they first came out.  The car is a factory AC car and this system is working great with no problems.  Other nice luxuries include the power steering and power brake system which make the car a dream to drive around. 

As with the rest of the car the interior is in an all original style with two tone Gold.  The combination cloth/vinyl seats are very comfortable and in great condition.  Up front is an added cup holder and storage console that looks like it should have came original in the car.  The dash is in beautiful condition with everything being painted or polished.  A center polished trim section runs down the center breaking up the two tone Brown paint.  All of the knobs, switches, and gauges are the original style and work with no problems.  A hidden sound system is in place to maintain that nostalgic look while providing you with your favorite tunes.  All of the glass is nice and clear with no chips or scratches. 

This cool classic was done right from front to rear.  It runs and drives great with no problems and gets tons of attention.  People love checking this car out and it never struggles to take home a trophy.
