1934 Chevrolet Custom
Coupe
This cool custom is very
unique and has a great style. It is the type of car you could
check out 100 times and still find new custom details. You
don't see many Chevrolets Street Rodded and this car will have you
wondering why. The car was all professionally built with no
corners cut. The Outlaw body is laser straight and coated in
nice Red paint. It has been color sanded and buffed out to a
great finish that is very slick. On top of the Red is custom
White/Black pin striping that is laid down very well. The
striper had one of the steadiest hands around wrapping the entire
body in a nice thin white line. The running board is topped
with a protective Black layer that actually works to protect them
while creating a break in the Red. This car is miles above
your average glass car. Up front are nicely painted Red
headlights with the turn signal mounted separately up top. If
the headlights alone weren't cool enough the taillights are the long
vintage style but the arm has been painted with the arm being
chromed. These are the type of features that really separate
this car from the rest. Even the "Chevrolet" on the lens have
been filled with White. The glass on the car is all crystal
clear and chrome windshield wipers are in place up front.
Billet chrome side mirrors are mounted to each side and are a nice
addition if you actually plan on driving the car. A leather
bra comes with the car to protect the front end when cruising down
the road. Other nice custom features include the chrome front
grill and louvered side panels. The car rides on chrome Weld
wheels with smoothed out center caps.
Under the hood of this
custom may not be what you would expect. That little 350 you
find in a lot of street rods has been overlooked and a 502 big block
put in its place. The engine compartment has been finished out
extremely well with every component thought out. The firewall
is coated in white which really makes for a nice clean look.
Vintage style finned Offenhauser valve covers look great in place on
each side of the chrome vintage air cleaner. There is billet
and chrome everywhere you look on this custom that is in great
condition. It has a polished manifold, cool flex houses,
billet wire looms, a chromed air cleaner and more! The
automatic transmission shifts nice and smooth with absolutely no
problems. The entire drive train was very well built and has
no problem performing. The car runs out extremely well and is
a joy to drive. The undercarriage is very well done with all
nice painted or polished parts.
The interior is
completed in a Beige leather and looks like it belongs in your high
dollar Rolls Royce. It was all custom completed by Steve
Holcomb who really knows his stuff. By the looks you would
think it has never even been sat in. The bench seat is
extremely comfortable and has nicely mounted dual seatbelts.
The dash is even topped entirely with leather! It is accented
by the Steve Warner white faced gauges mounted in an awesome billet
bezel. To each side of this is the chrome vents for the
Vintage heat/AC system. All of the switches are hidden to
complete a clean finish. The chrome Ididit tilt column is
finished off with a billet steering wheel that is wrapped in
matching leather. Look up and you will see the custom formed
overhead console containing the AM/FM/CD player. The electric
windows raise and lower with no problems and also use hidden
switches.
With only 9,000 miles
this car is fresh. It is show quality but still built to be
driven and enjoyed!
