This beautiful ride started out as a  Wild Rod Factory fiberglass '37 Ford sedan delivery body. But from there, the modifications are plentiful. The chassis features all the right stuff, including a Mustang II IFS, a Currie 9-inch Ford rear-end with four-link, Wilwood big brakes, and Air Ride Technologies ShockWaves at each corner for that slammed-down look we all love so much. A Ford SVO master cylinder sends pressure to the Wilwood brakes, and a Maval Manufacturing rack and pinion keeps it all rolling in the right direction. The chassis has been smoothed and painted.  The car rides on a one-off set of Bon Speed Wild Thang 18- and 20-inch billets wheels.  These finely carved billet wheels were made especially for this car by Bonspeed of Mesa, AZ.  The engine is a finely tuned GM 350V8 with a Edlebrock dual 4 barrel carburetion system, World Products iron heads,  custom painted valve covers, plenty of billet and Vintage Air's Front-Runner bracket and pulley system.

The interior of this '37 is as stunning as the outside for sure. It was crafted by J.C. Auto Trim of Irwin, Pennsylvania. Done in a combination of Allante and ostrich materials in white and orange that stretches throughout the headliner, over the Fiero bucket seats, and even across the floor.  A Custom Autosound Secret Audio sound system will keep you entertained. And everything is kept operating as it should through a Painless wiring kit. Finishing out the interior is a beautifully painted dash with a set of sunken white-faced gauges from Auto Meter Products, a Billet Specialties steering wheel, a Billet Specialities tilt column and a B&M  Street Bandit shifter.

The body was carefully worked over by Elstner's Rod & Custom out of West Elizabeth, Pennsylvania. They added a set of Vintique headlights and a pair of LED taillights from a Yamaha motorcycle before applying the stunning PPG Concept Orange paint. Gary Constable of Mutant Art in Louisville applied the graphics to the valve covers, dashboard, and faux body trim with a V-8 insignia on the rear of the body. All the bright work on the car was masterfully plated and polished at Bill's Chrome of Jeanette, Pennsylvania.

This custom built Street Rod was debuted at SEMA and has won every major show it has entered.  It was also a centerfold for Summit Racing Products catalogue. Plus is was featured in Street Rodder Magazine.  You can use the following link to read the article.
